Terms of Use

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using NorthAxis.

1. About NorthAxis

NorthAxis is operated by Aurion NorthAxis LLP (“NorthAxis”, “we”, “us” or “our”). NorthAxis provides informational and educational content, financial modelling and planning tools, calculators, client and adviser workspaces, and other resources made available through northaxis.space (collectively, the “Platform”).

These Terms apply to the public website, Money & Macro, Client Workspace, Adviser Workspace, calculators, modelling tools and other features made available through the Platform. Certain areas may have additional terms or notices. If there is any inconsistency, the additional terms applicable to that feature will apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

NorthAxis is not, merely by providing the Platform, acting as your financial adviser, fund manager, insurer, bank, tax adviser, lawyer or other professional adviser.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to do so and that your use complies with that organisation’s requirements.

3. Eligibility and Access

Some areas of the Platform may be publicly accessible, while others may be restricted to clients, authorised advisers, invited users or other permitted users. Restricted areas may use an access code or other access control.

If you are given access credentials, you must keep them confidential and must not share them with an unauthorised person. You are responsible for activity carried out using your credentials. We may suspend, restrict or revoke access where misuse is suspected, these Terms are breached, or a feature is changed or withdrawn.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform only for lawful informational, educational, planning or professional purposes consistent with the access made available to you.

You must not:

• use the Platform to provide or hold out regulated advice that you are not licensed or authorised to provide;
• present Platform content or outputs as guaranteed, definitive or personalised recommendations;
• reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Platform or its content without written consent;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, interfere with or extract underlying code, systems or protected data; or
• use the Platform in a manner that violates applicable law, regulation, professional obligations or the rights of another person.

5. Client and Adviser Workspaces

Client and Adviser Workspaces may include portfolio tracking, financial modelling, calculators, scenario analysis and related tools. Outputs are generated from information, assumptions and parameters entered by users and are illustrative only.

Users are responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of their inputs and for assessing whether an output is appropriate for its intended use. An adviser or other professional user remains responsible for any advice, recommendation, suitability assessment, compliance obligation or client communication arising from their professional activities. A client or other end user should not rely on a tool output as the sole basis for a financial decision.

6. Nature of Content and Outputs

Content and outputs on the Platform are for general informational, educational and illustrative purposes. They do not constitute financial, investment, insurance, tax, legal, accounting or other professional advice from NorthAxis.

Calculations, projections and analyses may use simplified assumptions and may not reflect all circumstances relevant to an individual. Actual investment returns, insurance benefits, asset values, liabilities, CPF balances, tax treatment, interest rates, inflation, market conditions, government policies and personal circumstances may differ materially from assumptions or projections. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

7. Money & Macro and Educational Content

Money & Macro, workshops, articles, videos, guides and other educational materials are intended to improve general understanding of markets, investing, wealth, protection and financial decision-making. They are not personalised recommendations and should not be interpreted as an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment, insurance product or other financial product.

Users should consider their own circumstances and obtain appropriate professional advice before acting on information presented through educational content.

8. Insurance, CPF, Tax and Other Specialist Information

Insurance and protection analyses are illustrative and do not replace actual policy terms, product illustrations, underwriting decisions or advice from an appropriately authorised person. CPF-related figures and projections may rely on publicly available information and simplified assumptions and remain subject to prevailing CPF rules and legislation.

Tax, legal and accounting information is general in nature. Treatment may depend on individual circumstances, jurisdiction and changes in law or practice. Users should obtain specialist advice where appropriate.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, intellectual property rights in the Platform, including its design, code, content, branding, templates and output formats, are owned by or licensed to NorthAxis. No rights are transferred to you by your use of the Platform.

You may use outputs generated for your own permitted personal or professional purposes, subject to these Terms, but you may not reproduce or commercially exploit the Platform itself without prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Content and Links

The Platform may contain information, data, links, embedded media or services supplied by third parties. These are provided for convenience or context. We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, security or continued operation. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

11. Availability and Changes

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, withdraw or restrict any part of the Platform at any time. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NorthAxis and its partners, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall not be liable for loss, damage, cost or expense arising from or in connection with access to, inability to access, use of, or reliance on the Platform or its content or outputs, including errors, omissions, interruptions, user-entered assumptions, changes in law or policy, market movements, or decisions made on the basis of Platform information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Professional and Regulated Users

Advisers and other professional or regulated users remain responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, licensing conditions, professional standards and firm policies applicable to them. Use of NorthAxis does not transfer responsibility for advice, suitability, compliance, documentation or client communications to NorthAxis.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on the Platform with its effective or last-updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
